Obituary for Alverta Joyce Glore

Alverta Joyce Glore of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on August 21, 1945, a daughter to the late Walter William Nettles and the late Delphia Mildred (Warden) Nettles. Joyce went to her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones having reached seventy-four years of age.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by sister, Beverly Ann (Phil) Western; infant sister, Linda Nettles; and many other dear family members.

Joyce is survived by her three children: Bill (Paula) Glore, Michael (Melinda) Glore and Tonya (Mike) Missey; brother, Walter Ray (Virginia) Nettles; sister, Leta Faye Gensler; uncle, Paul (Donna) Warden; aunts, Ruth Warden-Crew, Sharon Warden and Betty Warden; grandchildren: Lacey (Ronnie) Price, Lindsey Glore, Mariah (Robbie) Coleman, Michael (Jessica) Glore, Jr., Beau Missey (Girlfriend, Kaci Johnson), Brittany Missey (Boyfriend, Ryan Rickerd), and Blake Missey; great-grandchildren: Zachary Price, Kylee Price, Jolene Emily, Jayden Emily, Kamden Glore, Hunter Glore, Harper Missey and Myla Missey; father of her children, Bill Glore; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at DeClue Funeral Home on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume Friday, March 6, 2020, beginning at 12:00 PM. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2020, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Trevor Kean officiating assisted by Pastor Bob Pyatt.

Honoring Joyce by serving as her pallbearers will be Beau Missey, Blake Missey, Mikey Glore, Zach Price, Ronnie Price, Robbie Coleman and Ryan Rickerd; honorary pallbearers will be Kamden and Hunter Glore. Interment and final prayers will be held at New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, following the service.
