David Wayne Ketcherside of Potosi, Missouri, was born on June 19, 1963 in St. Francois County, Missouri, a son of the late Raymond Ketcherside and the late Alice Mae (Marler) Ketcherside. David departed this life on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the age of 57.

In addition to his father and mother, David was preceded in death by one sister, Frances “Katie” Fingers; and one brother, Morris Ketcherside.

David was a fun loving person who enjoyed life. He found joy in deer hunting, fishing, watching westerns, and listening to old country music. David loved putting model cars together. He put such intricate detail into his work with each car. David had two guinea pigs named Bubba and Ernie. He loved his pets very much. Two of David’s favorite places to visit was Bass Pro Shop in Springfield as well as Sams Club. David was a jokester and was always picking with everyone. He will be missed by many dear friends, nieces and nephews.

Due to health considerations, a private graveside will be held at a later date. David will be laid to rest with his parents at Germania Cemetery, Terre Du Lac, Missouri. Funeral arrangements were cared for by DeClue Funeral Home.
