Obituary for Doris Ruth Rhoda (Corbell)
Doris Ruth Rhoda of Sullivan, Missouri, was born on August 7, 1947 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a daughter of the late Arvin Corbell and the late Ruby (Hall) Corbell. Doris passed away on November 24, 2022, having reached the age of 75.
Those who remain to cherish her memory include her children: Tishia Tsiptsis, Jeffrey Turner (Wife, Tammy), James Turner; grandchildren: Amber Tsiptsis, Travis Gibson, Jacob Turner, Jayce Turner, Madison Turner; great grandchildren: Annabelle, Aria, and Elara; sisters: Carolyn Gladden and Virginia Johnson. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings: Billy Corbell, Joanne Boshell, Shirley Tatum, and Janice Law.
Doris enjoyed arts and crafts, being outdoors and picking berries, and gardening. Doris was part Cherokee Indian and loved collecting anything Indian related. In addition, Doris always enjoyed road rides, fishing, and most of all spending time with her family. Doris loved life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
