Obituary for Earnest "Marvin" Tedder
Earnest Marvin Tedder of Potosi, Missouri, was born on February 5, 1944, in Stoney Point, Missouri, a son of the late Frank and Grace (Gilliam) Tedder. Marvin passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, having reached the age of seventy-eight years, and nineteen days.
Those who remain to cherish his memory include his children: Tonya (husband, Fred) Dunn, Rhonda Tedder, Marvin Tedder; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Katheryn Hamby; and a sweet puppy, Gypsy.
In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Lynn Tedder; siblings: Ruth Glore, Wilma Mosier, Betty Mosier, Margaret Cox, Hobert Tedder, Paul “Ed” Tedder, Larry Tedder, and Robert Tedder.
Marvin owned and operated Marvin’s Chainsaw Shop and loved working on his farm. He cared for many animals, including horses, llamas, and cattle. He enjoyed many things: driving his red 1986 Chevrolet truck, watching wrestling, attending rodeos, and car races. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and loved them with all his heart.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 11 am - 1 pm at DeClue Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 1pm. Interment will follow at New Diggins Cemetery.
