They say a picture is worth a thousand words but we all know Gammy could find a million worlds to describe just one picture. That would also describe the way she lived her life, down to the smallest detail. She was always such a joy to be around and loved life. Family was everything to her and she always went above and beyond to see the smiles on everyone's faces. She was like a fine piece of art that was full of color and joy. Just as a piece of art is treasured so will every memory of her. Gammy was always about making memories. Growing up we would go to Chicago to see her and she always had plans for us to see something new and neat. We would go see the museums, aquariums and art all over Chicago. She always supported and pushed us to choose our dreams, do our best, and would do everything she could to help us along. The pursuit of knowledge was important to her, and she was always supportive of what we wanted to do. She also had a great sense of humor and we would often laugh at ourselves but others as well. She was loved very much and will be missed even more. I can hear her telling us to celebrate her life rather than mourn her passing.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
