Obituary for Ethel Marie DeClue (Cain)
Ethel Marie DeClue of Potosi, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 1, 2020 having reached the age of eighty-six years, five months and nineteen days. She was born on February 13, 1934 a daughter of the late James Cain and the late Evelyn (Price) Cain.
In addition to her father and mother, Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Lennie DeClue; four siblings: Anna Mae Curtis, Homer Cain, Betty Williams, and Billy Cain; grandson, Mitchell DeClue. great grandchild: Precious DeClue.
Ethel will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her eight children: Eddie Joe DeClue, Mickey (Paula) DeClue, Richard DeClue, Timothy DeClue, Karen Drennen, Tina (Randy) Williams, Kelly (Rex) Isgriggs, and Rhonda Gonzalez; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-eight great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Mary Ann Cain, Judy Cain, Rose Ann Owens and Margaret Short. Ethel is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, August 3, 2020 from 4:30 to 8 PM at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 9 to 11 AM.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 11 AM with Pastor Dwight Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
