Obituary for Fred Howard Radford

Fred Howard Radford of Potosi, Missouri was born on September 15, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of the late Warren G. Radford Sr. and the late Audrey M. (Hudgins) Radford. Fred passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2020, surrounded by his family.

Fred and Bonnie met in 1963 at Sherman School in St. Louis. They were married on July 30, 1966 at Four Square Church.

Fred is survived by his former wife, Bonnie Radford; daughter, Tracy Veach and husband David; son, Rick Radford and wife Rebecca; former daughter-in-law, Janey Radford; four grandchildren: Bethany AuBuchon and husband Ryan, Jordan Veach, Warren Radford and Aimee Radford; two great grandchildren: Macyn and Cohen AuBuchon; sister, Audrey Morand and husband Ron; sister-in-law, Susie Radford; former brother-in-law, Rick Waltman; nephews: Larry Radford and wife Annie, Jayson Morand and wife Maria; nieces: Robin Lynn and husband Kevin, Tiffany Cumberworth and husband Lee; and very dear friend, Kevin Scott.

In addition to his father and mother, Fred was preceded in death by two brothers: Warren Radford Jr. and Joe Radford; sister, Terri Radford; and niece, Terri (Radford) Heuer.

Fred loved his family very much. He cherished the time he spent with them. Fred had many hobbies. Some of his favorites were attending turkey and gun shoots, woodworking, and watching westerns. In addition Fred also found enjoyment in hanging out with friends at BBQ’s and fish fries. Fred will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Visitation was held at DeClue Funeral Home on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 11 AM to 2 PM.

A Funeral Service immediately followed on Sunday beginning at 2 PM with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating assisted by Bro. Trevor Kean.

Interment was held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Fred received full military funeral honors presented by the United States Army and VFW Post 6996.
