Gary Wayne Marler of Potosi, Missouri, was born on July 27, 1962, in Potosi, Missouri, a son of the late Floyd L. Marler and Ellen Jane (Wiggins) Marler. Gary passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, having reached the age of fifty-nine years, six months, and eleven days.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his siblings: Wesley (Carolyn) Marler, Patricia (Gary) Golden, Donnie (Wilma) Marler, Kevin (Misty) Marler, and Lisa (Brian) Swem; stepdaughter, Jamie (Chris) Rolens; step grandchildren, Ashley Evans and Tyler Rolens; step great-grandchildren: Jace and Jasper Farley. Gary is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his siblings: Debbie (Bowyer) Coleman and Brenda Sherman-King.

A time of visitation will be on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 4:30 to 8 pm and continued Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 9 to 11 am at DeClue Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service to honor Gary will be conducted on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 11 am at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at New Diggins Cemetery in Mineral Point, MO.
