Obituary for James Elzie Daniels
James Elzie Daniels, also known as “Jim”, of Potosi, Missouri, was born on January 21, 1943 in Ironton, Missouri, a son of the late Willie E. Daniels and the late Edna Mae (Gorman) Daniels. Jim passed away on March 24, 2021 having reached the age of seventy-eight years, two months and three days.
Jim is survived by his daughters: Sharon Daniels, Patsy Daniels and Gwen Daniels; sister, Thelma Miles; nephew, Michael Badgley; nieces: Michelle Barillier and Tanya Badgley; aunt, Anita Gorman; cousins, Fern Schalk, Katie Schalk, Crystal Masson, and Tiffani Filippi; ex-wife, Thelma Daniels.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Edna Daniels and special uncle, Floyd “Sonny” Gorman.
A private graveside service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. Full military honors will be presented by the United States Army.
Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
