Obituary for James Jim Raphael Boyer

James Raphael Boyer also lovingly known as Jim was born on October 29, 1951 in Bonne Terre, Missouri, a son of the late Claude Benedict Boyer and the late Agatha Velma (Thebeau) Boyer. Jim went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 4, 2020 having reached the age of sixty-nine years, one month and six days.

On September 22, 2001 Jim was united in marriage to Marcia Elaine Compton and they shared nineteen years of memories together.

Those who remain to celebrate his life include his loving wife Elaine Boyer; seven children: Jeremy (Alicia) Boyer, Tristan Boyer, Aidan Boyer, Kyle (Nissa) Compton, Sam (Brittney) Compton, Holly (Bruce) Wilkinson, and Johna Guelker; eleven grandchildren: Teegan Wilkinson, Kamryn Boyer, Hailey Baggette, Brodie Linderer, Jade Linderer, Cheyenne Hubert, Brandi Compton, Bryton Compton, Rykki Compton, Valyree Compton, and Garrick Compton; two beloved sisters: Cyrilla Ann Boyer and Mary "Pat" (Michael) Pratt; special friend, Scott Eckhoff; father and mother-in-law: Leonard and Ruth Compton; and sister-in-law, Josephine Boyer. Jim is also survived by the mother of his children, Katy Werner; as well as other brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and many friends.

In addition to Jim's father and mother, he was preceded in death by three siblings: Joseph "Butch" Boyer and wife Alma June, Paul Boyer, and Veronica Juliette and husband Gene; and many other dear family members.

Visitation will be Monday, December 7, 2020 from 5 to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home and will resume on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 9 to 11 am.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 11 am held at DeClue Funeral Home with Pastors Gary Greenlee and Gary Petty officiating.
