Obituary for Jason Lee Stam

Jason Lee Stam was born on March 26th, 1975 in Farmington, Missouri, a son to LeaDonna (Hughes) Stam and the late Francis “Sonny” Stam. On Friday, March 3rd, 2023, Jason went to his Heavenly Home and was united with Jesus at the age of 47.

Jason was united in marriage to Ashley Marler on July 16th, 2005 and they shared nearly 18 years of life and love together. He loved and cherished his family with all of his heart and was so proud of his kids, especially being Pappy to his grandson, Oliver. Jason was a man who loved people and people loved him. He was a proud and faithful member of Harvest Christian Centre where he served in children's ministry. He was honored to be the Royal Ranger Commander. He loved telling others about Jesus. Jason proudly served his community for 26 years as a volunteer firefighter for both Park Hills and Desloge. He had a passion for helping others and always stood by the ranger code of conduct. He will be greatly missed by so many, both young and old. However, he would say, “you will see me again”. He would want everyone to be celebrating his life and to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, so you could see him again one day.

Those who are left behind to treasure his memory include his wife, Ashley Stam; four children: Travis Stam (wife, Jessica), Ciera Stam, Dillan Stam, and Samuel Stam; grandson, Oliver Stam; mother, LeaDonna Stam; brother, Brian Stam (wife, Tracy); niece, Hanna Courtois (husband, Hunter); and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Jerry and Patricia Marler. Jason also leaves behind brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, , cousins extended family, church family and a host of special friends throughout the community.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
