Obituary for Jeffrey Lynn Cresswell
Jeffrey Lynn Cresswell of Potosi, Missouri, was born on June 16, 1960, in Ironton, Missouri, a son of the late Eugene League Cresswell and Ida Emma (Paul) Cresswell. Jeffrey passed away on March 26, 2022, having reached the age of sixty-one years, nine months, and twelve days.
Jeffrey enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. You would often find him participating in numerous fishing tournaments. He also worked as an electrician for many years.
Those who remain to cherish his memory include his three daughters: Kylee, Kaylin, and Karley Cresswell; siblings: Rodney Cresswell, Chris Cresswell (wife, JoAnn), Janet Vandergriff (husband, Clarence); nephews and nieces: Craig Cresswell, Brian Cresswell, Donna Cresswell, Sherrie Cresswell, Shanah Vandergriff, Eric Vandergriff, Jason Cresswell, Alan Cresswell, Larry Dale Cresswell; and longtime friend, Mike Vance.
In addition to his parents, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his brothers: Gary Cresswell, Joe Cresswell, and Jim Cresswell; sister-in-law, Anna Bell Huff; niece-in-law, Lana Cresswell; and nephew, Mike Dodson.
A Visitation for Jeffrey will be Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 11 am to 2 pm at DeClue Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 2 pm at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Brother Dwight Petete officiating.
