Jimmie Edward Minx of Mineral Point, Missouri, was born on September 10, 1968 in Potosi, Missouri, a son of the late Jimmie Dale Minx and the late Janet Ruth (Woodruff) Minx. Jimmie passed away, peacefully in his home, at the age of 54.

On October 14, 1989, Jimmie was united in marriage to Carrie Wise, and they spent 33 years together.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his wife, Carrie Minx; children: Jimmie Minx (wife, Trinity), and Andrew Minx; grandchildren: Jimmie Eugene Minx Jr, Roman Mohr, and soon coming baby, Arabella Grace; brother: Randy Minx (wife Glenda); bonus sister, Lyn Havin; and bonus grandma, Arleen Havin. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Dale and Janet Minx.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 5 to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 9 to 11 am.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 11 am at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Redbud Memorial Gardens in Potosi.
