Joel Farris Kimbrough of Bismarck, MO., was born on December 16, 1953 in St. Louis to James William Kimbrough and Trainie Leona (Farris) Kimbrough. Joel departed this life on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 10 days.

Joel is survived by his son, Jeremiah Kimbrough; five siblings: Jerry Kimbrough (wife, Dottie), Johnny Kimbrough (wife, Diana), Judy Gillam, Joyce Sumpter (husband, Audrey), and Jarvis Kimbrough; In-Laws: Ronnie Fisher, Maureen Kimbrough, Nona Kimbrough, and Mary Kimbrough. Joel also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and friends.

Joel was preceded in death by his parents, James and Leona Kimbrough; five siblings: Jimmy Kimbrough, Jesse Kimbrough, Judson Kimbrough, Jason Kimbrough, and Joel's twin sister Janet Fisher; In-Laws: Donnie Gillam, Janet Kimbrough, and Bonnie Kimbrough.

A Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 9:30 am until the time of his Memorial Service at 11 AM held at DeClue Funeral Home. Elder Leonard Compton will officiate Mr. Kimbrough's service.
