Katherine Lorraine Goodson of Cadet, Missouri, was born on March 22, 1952, in St. Louis, MO, a daughter to the late Alfred Ray Hart and the late Lottie (Sasanger) Hart. Kathi passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, having reached the age of seventy years, three months, and fourteen days.

Those who remain to treasure her memory include her husband of twenty-seven years, Micky Goodson; children: Bobby Wood, Allen Wood (wife, Amanda), Katherine Goodson, Kaytlynn May (husband, Hunter), and Ava Goodson; grandchildren: Timothy DeClue and Brent DeClue; in-laws: Donnie and Donna Goodson, and Albert and Carol Cain.

In addition to her parents, Kathi was preceded in death by her son, Gayland Ray Wood; and many brothers and sisters.

Kathi loved shopping, crocheting, sewing, photography, watching and feeding hummingbirds, and animals in general. Kathi also loved being outside and the beauty of nature. She never met a stranger and always enjoyed a good conversation. Kathi was loving, caring, and giving. She loved her family and always wanted to make sure they were taken care of.

A Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 3 pm to 6 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 6 pm.
