Obituary for Larry Dale Boyer

Larry Dale Boyer, of Farmington, Missouri, was born on June 20, 1951 in Bonne Terre to Homer Dale Boyer and Naomi Ruth (Hassell) Boyer.

Larry was a graduate of Central High, class of 1969. On December 3, 1976, Larry was united in marriage to the love of his life, Pamela Gosling and they shared 45 years of life and memories together. Larry attended Southeast Missouri State University where he graduated in 1985 with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. After college, Larry partnered with his brother, Curtis, and opened a successful accounting firm, Boyer & Associates.

Larry loved the Lord, first and foremost above anything. He had a servants heart. He believed in giving, loving and sharing the gospel with all he came in contact with. Larry was a prayer warrior and had a love for Gods word. In years past, he served as a Deacon at Park Hills First Assembly. He also served as a Deacon for approximately 18 years and was a faithful member of the worship team at Harvest Christian Centre, where he currently attended.

Family was his everything. Larry loved spending time with his wife, children, and especially his grandchildren. On a beautiful day, one could often find Larry on a lake fishing. He found great joy going on fishing trips with his fishing buddies: Bill Bone, Jim Sherrill, Kevin Pierce, and Wes Crews.

On Friday, February 11, 2022, Larry’s faith became his sight and he was united with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at the age of 70.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Pamela Boyer; two children: Matthew Boyer (wife, Jessica), Rev. Missy Towers (husband, Rev. Mike); three grandchildren: Harper, Eli and Maggie; three siblings: Elaine Gordon (husband, Dennis), Curtis Boyer (wife, Terry), and Christopher Boyer (wife, Katie). Larry is also survived by his father-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and church family.

Larry was reunited in Heaven with his parents, Homer and Naomi Boyer and many other dear relatives.
