Obituary for Lena Mae Smith
Lena Mae Smith of Potosi, Missouri was born on March 3, 1921 in Potosi, a daughter of the late Howard Lynn Smith and the late Annie (Mercer) Smith. Lena went to her Heavenly Home and was united with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, October 1, 2020 having almost attained the age of 100.
Lena leaves behind many dear nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever cherish her memory.
In addition to her father and mother, Lena was preceded in death by and infant sister: Baby Marie; and four siblings: Oscar Smith and wife Marjorie, Granville Smith and wife Edie, Mary Nordyke and husband Arnold, and Patricia Moore and husband Bob.
Visitation will be Monday, October 5, 2020 from 4:30 to 8 pm and Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 9 am until the time of service at 11 am held at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street, Potosi, Missouri, 63664. Elder Leonard Compton will officiate her service.
Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
