Marvin Floyd Oker of Festus, Missouri, formerly of Potosi, was born on August 23, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son to the late Clara Ross Moses. On November 16, 1991, Marvin was united in marriage to the love of his life Teresa Strange and they shared 30 years of life and memories together. Marvin went to his Heavenly home to be with Jesus on Saturday, April 10, 2021 having reached the age of sixty-five years, seven months and eighteen days.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Teresa Oker; children: Samantha Oker, Steven Oker, Marcus (Ashley) Oker, Emma Oker, Jaxson Oker, Winter Oker, and Levi Oker; grandchildren: Marissa Oker and Marcus Oker Jr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doyle and Fran Strange; siblings: Lee (Florita) Oker, Michael (Janice) Moses, Rick (Leslie) Moses, Mary (Richard) Tesson, Vickey (Eric) Byington, Darlene (Richard) Weihl, Marilynn Rawson, Arline (John) Kupke, Barbara (John) Zlartic; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Dwayne and Tina Strange, Michael and Tammy Strange, and Mary Moses.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents: Jewell and Clara Moses; brothers: Jack, Bill, Delain, Lovell, Robert, Daniel, and Vern Moses.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm at Harvest Christian Centre, 1925 MO-32, Park Hills, MO 63601.

A Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Harvest Christian Centre with Pastor Dwight Jones officiating, assisted by Pastor Arlie Singleton. Interment will follow at Redbud Memorial Gardens in Potosi, Missouri.
