Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Merritt (Coleman)
Mary Elizabeth Merritt, also known as "Ebate" to family and friends, of Belgrade, Missouri, was born on November 13, 1944 in Old Mines, Missouri, a daughter to Charles Leo Coleman and Mary Irene (Robart) Coleman. Mary departed this life on Friday, August 12, 2022 having reached the age of 77 years and 9 months.
Those who remain to treasure her memory include her son, Joseph S. Boyer (wife, Beth); daughter, Linda Merritt; grandchildren: Racheal Schauman (husband, Jeff), Victoria Boyer and Fiancé Justin Olendorff, Nicholas Boyer, Jake Marsh, Rob Merritt, and Timmy Merritt; three great grandchildren: Gabe Freeman, Landon Mullen, and Kenzie Olendorff; four siblings: Martha Aubuchon, David Coleman, Ramona Mesey (husband, Charles), Vincent Coleman (wife, Jeannie). Mary also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to her father and mother, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph S. Boyer; second husband, Jerry Merritt; and many dear siblings.
A time of Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17th, 2022 from 10:30 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 1 PM, held in the DeClue Chapel with Fr. Tony Dattilo officiating. Interment and final prayers will be held at the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
