Obituary for Michael Allen Blair
Michael Allen Blair of Potosi, Missouri, was born on November 16, 1960 at Ironton, Missouri, a son to the late Gary Blair and Beulah Cook. Mike departed this life on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson have reached the age of 62 years, 5 months and 25 days.
On April 4, 1992, Mike was united in marriage to Kathy Sue Richards and they shared 31 years together.
Those who remain to treasure his memory include his loving wife, Kathy Blair; five children: Jason Blair (Fiancé, Melissa DeClue), Heather Griffin (husband, Chad), NickCole Pashea (husband, Joey), Charley Blair and Jackson Porter, Casey Blair and Lana Hayes; nineteen grandchildren: Peyton, Kiersten, Lauren, Julia, Paige, Robert, Taylor, Madison, Kyle, Brylee, Bella, Sophie, Caitlin, Dylan, Jobi, Leeanna, Layla, Tate, and Easton; 17 great grandchildren; step mother, Barb Blair; four siblings: Shane (Tyla) Blair, Shannon (Kiley) Blair, Shawnda Dickinson and Robbie Kennon, and Carla Blair. Mike also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to Mike’s father and mother, he was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Ot and Mary Cook.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 from 5 to 8 PM at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, May 16th from 9 am until the time of his funeral service at 11 AM, held in the DeClue Chapel. Pastor Dwight Jones will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Grassy Hollow Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
