Montie Carl Breakfield Sr. of Potosi, Missouri, was born on April 15, 1949, in Shirley, Missouri, a son of the late Freddie and Almeda (Hollinsworth) Breakfield. Montie departed this life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 having reached the age of seventy-one years, eight months and seven days.

In addition to Montie’s parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Breakfield; three brothers: Virgil Breakfield and Wife Ruth Ann, Eddie Breakfield, and Russell Breakfield.

Montie is survived by his three children: Melissa Rollens and husband Anthony, Carl Breakfield, Brian Breakfield and wife Cynthia; six grandchildren: Gabrielle “Gabby” Criswell, Dustin Breakfield, Mary Breakfield, CJ Breakfield, Brian Breakfield, and Breanna Breakfield; five great-grandchildren: Amaya, Arlo, Ellie, Haley, and Bradley; five siblings: Beauford Breakfield and wife Betty, Darrell Breakfield and wife Baby, David Breakfield and wife Mary, Vivian Ledbetter and husband Charles, and Mildred Campbell and husband Tom; and sisters-in-law: Margaret Breakfield and Bessie Breakfield. Montie is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends who will truly miss him.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 10:30 am until the time of funeral service at 1 pm held at DeClue Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to DeClue Funeral Home.
