Obituary for Montie "Carl" "Carl" Breakfield Jr.
Montie "Carl" Breakfield Jr. of Potosi, Missouri, was born on July 25, 1967 in Bonne Terre, Missouri, a son to Mary Lou (Adams) Battreal and the late Montie Carl Breakfield. Carl was united in marriage to Linda Diane Coleman on July 14, 2001. Carl passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 having reached the age of fifty-three years, eight months and seventeen days.
Those who remain to cherish his memory include his mother, Mary Lou Battreal; children: Mary Breakfield, Dustin Breakfield, CJ Breakfield and Jessica Mason; stepchildren: Katrina (Casey) Price, Daniel East, Dawn (Nick Cain) East, and Thomas Boyer; five grandchildren: Haley and Bradley Boyer, Amaya, Arlo, and Eleanor Breakfield; siblings: Brian (Cynthia) Breakfield, Mike Battreal, and Melissa (Anthony) Rollens. Carl is also survived by a host of special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Carl was preceded in death by his father, Montie Carl Breakfield Sr.; dad, Larry Battreal; wife, Linda Diane Breakfield; sister, Rebecca Breakfield; and many other dear relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 4:30 pm to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 E High St, Potosi, Missouri 63664. Visitation will continue on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 9 am to 11am.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 16, 2021 at 11 am at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Robert Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Redbud Memorial Gardens in Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
