Obituary for Nancy Ann Richardson (Sansoucie)

Nancy Ann Richardson of Old Mines, Missouri, was born on July 26, 1939 in Bliss, Missouri, a daughter of the late Nick Sansoucie and the late Cecelia (DeClue) Sansoucie. Nancy went to be with the lord on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the age of 83.

On July 12, 1980 Nancy was united in marriage to Wilburn Joseph Richardson and they shared 30 years of life and love together. Nancy was a devoted member of the St. Joachim Catholic Church in Old Mines. She loved her Lord and Savior. She was a dedicated member of the church Choir and a member of the St. Ann Sodality. Nancy had a servant’s heart and was always ready to help in any way whether it be for family or for her church. Family meant so much to her. She enjoyed every moment spent with them. Her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of her children and grandchildren for generations to come.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her children: Kim Coleman and Richard, Netta Heberlie and Jr., Crystal Craig and Barb, Tina Tate and Joe, Bucky Benson and Billy, Shannon Gravatt and Jake, Peggy Lunsford and Fred, Joe Richardson, Lisa Bequette and Shawn; twenty one grandchildren: Jason, Cassie, Tara, Abbie, Rachael, Katie, Haley, Shelby, Maddy, Brady, Alicia, Logan, Ashley, Cory, Amanda, Todd, Billy, Jake, Tyler, Alex, and Isabelle; and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; son-in-law, Randy Keller; daughter-in-law, Bobbie Richardson; three siblings: Shirley Boyer, MaryLee Davis, Steve Sansoucie and Mary, and Larry Sansoucie; In-Laws: Sharon Sansoucie, Bob and Eleanor Benson. Nancy also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends.

In addition to her father and mother, Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph “Popeye” Richardson; two children: Marsha Keller and Eddie Richardson; two grandsons: Bubby Craig and Brandon Benson; and two siblings: Kenny "Shanks" Sansoucie and Sedrick Boyer.

Visitation will be held at DeClue Funeral Home on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 5 to 8 pm and Tuesday, December 13th, from 8 to 9:15 AM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, December 13th, 2022 at 10 AM held at St. Joachim Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Dattilo officiating. Interment and final prayers will follow in the St. Joachim Cemetery. DeClue Funeral Home was honored to have served and ministered to the family of Nancy.
