Obituary for Paul Keith Yarbrough

Paul Keith Yarbrough of Potosi, Missouri, was born on September 27, 1934 at Indian Creek, Missouri, a son of the late Andrew “Jack” Yarbrough and the late Mary (Blunt) Yarbrough. On Friday, August 14, 2020, Paul went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In addition to his father and mother, Paul was preceded in death by two wives: Dorothy Mae (Masson) Yarbrough and Betty (Wilson) Yarbrough; two siblings: Charlotte Yarbrough and Merril Yarbrough; nieces and nephew: Thelma Locey, William Hilliard, and Brenda Hilliard.

Paul will be missed by his dear family, including his sister, Jeanie Carpenter; In-Laws: Tom and Doris Gamble, Erma Beers; special nieces and nephews: Jeff and Mary Gamble, Jason and Julia Nipper, Penny and David Beers, Rickey, Greg, and Terry Wilson, Donald Hilliard, and Kenneth Hilliard. Paul is also survived by special friends, Elmer and Kathy Akers; extended family and dear friends at Hillside Living Center.

Paul loved the Lord above all and was a true Christian example to anyone he met. Paul had a strong work ethic. He worked at a sawmill at a young age, worked as a janitor for both the City of Potosi and Boyer Lumber. In addition, Paul worked for Herb Huff at the Locker Plant doing butcher work and anything that needed to be done. He was always ready to help the customers. In his later years, one could find Paul riding his lawn mower around town, mowing grass for folks which he throughly enjoyed. Paul cared dearly for both of his wives till their passing. He will be remembered for his caring and compassionate heart.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 5 to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 9 to 11 am.

A Funeral Service will be Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 11 am held in the DeClue Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
