Obituary for Roger Dale Ives
Roger Dale Ives of Belgrade, Missouri, was born on January 6, 1945 in Belgrade, a son to the late Robert Ives and the late Juanita Ruth (Taylor) Ives. Roger departed this life on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at the age of 78.
On March 27th, 1970, Roger was united in marriage to Sharon Akers and they shared 53 years together and three children were born to this union.
Those who remain to treasure his memory include his wife, Sharon Ives; three children: Craig Ives (wife, Bonnie), Danielle Ives, and Tia Coon (husband, Brandon); fourteen grandchildren: Hunter (Kaylan) Ives, Rilee Ives, Angelica Aldridge, Victoria Aldridge, Shane Aldridge, Cravon Ives, Delaynee Ives, Dillion Brannum, Brendon Dunn, Breanna Dunn, Christian Dudley, Selena Dudley, Mason Coon, and Lydia Coon; two great grandchildren: Aria and Baylor; brother, Bobby Ives (wife, Doris); mother-in-law, Dolores Akers; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Judy and John Bell; nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to his father and mother, Roger was preceded in death by his grandson, Cayden Dudley; two siblings: Kenny Ives and Judy Mae Eye; father-in-law, Lawrence Akers; and many other dear relatives.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 12th, 2023 from 5 to 8 PM at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Monday from 9 to 11 AM.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 13th, 2023 at 11 AM held at the DeClue Chapel. Interment will follow at the Akers Cemetery, Belgrade. DeClue Funeral Home was honored to have served the family of Mr. Roger Ives.
