Obituary for Roseanna Marie Gilbert (Martin)
Roseanna Marie Gilbert of Potosi, Missouri, was born on September 4, 1939 in St Joseph, Missouri, a daughter of the late William Harold Martin and the late Catherine Rose (White) Martin. Roseanna passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022, having reached the age of eighty-two years, eleven months, and twenty-one days.
Those who remain to cherish her memory include her children: Mary Hanson (husband, Terry), Dorothy Robertson, Shirley Witt (husband, Joe), Brenda DeClue, and Shelby Gilbert (husband, Lisa); sons-in-law: Roger Knadler, and Jerry Best; twenty grandchildren; thirty three great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Bill Martin (wife, Nancy).
In addition to her parents, Roseanna was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gilbert; son, Richard Gilbert; son-in-law, Junior DeClue; siblings: Sonny Martin, Joyce Knadler, and Betty Best; and granddaughter, Charity Gilbert.
A Graveside service will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery on Monday, August 29, 2022, at 11 am, officiated by Pastor Keith King.
