Obituary for Steven Jay Gibson
Steven Jay Gibson of Leadwood, Missouri, was born on April 13, 1966 in Potosi, Missouri, a son of the late Alvin Alfred Gibson and the late Ruby May (King) Gibson. Steve passed away on December 26, 2022, having reached the age of 56.
Those who remain to cherish his memory include his loving companion, Buffy Graves; children: Benjamin Helton, Ethan Harris; grandchildren: Chloe Snell, Raylan Helton, Harmony Vodicka, Shyila Vodicka, BreAnna Harris, and Ender Deming; siblings: Ray Gibson (wife, Chris), Allen Gibson (wife, Mary), and Kevin Gibson (wife, Stefania). Steve also leaves behind nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Ruby Gibson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 5 to 8 pm. Visitation will resume on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 9 to 11 am.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 11 am, at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Potosi, Missouri.
