Obituary for Susan Linda Johnson
Susan Linda Johnson of Potosi, Missouri was born on April 5, 1948, a daughter to the late Harry Strayer and the late Emma (Richmond) Strayer. On January 14, 1972, Susan was united in marriage to Billy Gene Johnson and one son was born to this union. Susan went to her Heavenly Home on Monday, February 24, 2020 having reached seventy-one years of age.
In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Cecil Charles Johnson.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 48 years, Bill Johnson; son, Shane Johnson and wife Audrey; three grandchildren: Taylor Meador and husband Cole, Kale Johnson and Sterling Johnson; mother-in-law, Midge Johnson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ginny and Barry McFarland, Dean and Pat Johnson; and many dear nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
Visitation will be held at DeClue Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, beginning at 9:00 AM.
A Funeral service for Susan will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Scott Welty officiating assisted by Bro. Jeff Richards. Interment and final prayers will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery following the service.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
