Obituary for Tamera Lestine Opal Auten (Crump)
Tamera Lestine Opal Auten was born on February 28, 1973 in Farmington, Missouri, a daughter to Michael Crump and Sandy Barnard. Tammy as her family and friends knew her, departed this life on Monday, June 20, 2022, having reached the age of 49 years, 3 months and 23 days. On June 8, 2012, Tammy was united in marriage to Dennis J. Auten Sr. and they shared 10 years together.
Those who are left behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Dennis "Digger" Auten; dear mother, Sandy Vaul; daughter, Cheyenne Crump (special friend, Nick DeClue); two grandchildren: Azlyn Horn and Braxton DeClue as well as other step grandchildren; seven siblings: Yvonne Bell, Bruce (Judy) Crump, Michael (Danielle) Crump, Crystal (Julio) , Chelsea (Jerry) Bingham, Shawn (Tina) Crump and Christopher (Ashley) Crump; also surviving are many dear nieces, nephews, and relatives.
In addition to her grandparents, Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Michael Crump; stepfather, Jerry Vaul; stepson, DJ Auten and nephew, Cody Crump.
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 5 to 8 PM at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 9 to 10 AM. A Funeral Service will commence on Friday at 10 AM held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Brother Guy Conway will be officiating the service.
Interment will be held at Hopewell Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
