Thomas Fredrick Minx of Cadet, Missouri was born on January 11, 1928, a son to the late John Minx and the late Fannie (Yarbrough) Minx. On July 7, 1952, Tom was united in marriage to Emma Ruth Mackley in Piggott, Arkansas and they shared nearly sixty-eight years together.

Tom passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at his residence having reached ninety-two years of age.

In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Emma Ruth Minx; two sisters: Maxine Pratte-Snell and Anna Mae Minx; and five brothers: John Minx, Jr., Norman Minx, Jimmie Dale Minx, LeRoy Minx and Lindell Minx.

Tom is survived by his son, Rick (Beth) Minx; daughter, Pat (Richard) Brown; brother, Wayne (Sharon) Minx; five grandchildren: Dustyn Minx, Sheena Minx, Joanie Minx, RJ Collins and Cari Fletcher; ten great-grandchildren; and many dear nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at DeClue Funeral Home, beginning at 12:00 PM. A funeral service to honor Tom will begin at 2:00 PM on Monday, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Jones officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by DeClue Funeral Home.
