Obituary for Timothy Gene Busse
Timothy Gene Busse, of Potosi, Missouri, was born on April 29, 1967 in Sullivan, Missouri, a son to the late Louis Busse and the late Patricia (Ritchey) Busse. Tim departed this life on Thursday evening, September 8, 2022 at his home at the age of 55 years, 4 months, and 10 days.
On December 23, 1993, Tim was united in marriage to Leah Swearingen and they shared nearly 29 years of life and love together. Tim had a love for the outdoors. Through the years, he enjoyed gardening and was appreciative of any gardening tips that were shared with him by friends. Tim enjoyed history and reading about it especially in regards to the Civil War. Tim loved traveling to different historical sites throughout the U.S. Tim was a wonderful dad. He was so proud of his boys and their accomplishments in life. He attended every event that they participated in. From cross country, to Track, to football. Tim loved his family and enjoyed supporting them alongside his wife, Leah.
Those who remain to treasure his memory include his loving wife, Leah Busse; three sons: Jacob Swearingen (wife, Jessica), Timothy Busse Jr. (wife, Ashley), and Tristan Busse; two grandchildren: Leo and Emberlyn; three siblings: Lori Ann Lamke (husband, John "Buster"), Larry Downey and special friend Renee, and Patti Quick; half-sister, Sharon Auer (husband, Chris); nieces and nephews: Tim Lamke (wife, Carie), Brandon Lamke (wife, Nicole), Anthony Garrett, Mike Cox, Zach Cox, Terry Quick, Tania Quick, and Diamond Heller (husband, Joshua).
A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, September 14th, 2022 from 11:30 AM until the time of his Memorial Service at 1 PM held at DeClue Funeral Home.
