Gary went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 16, 2020 having reached the age of seventy-one years, six months, and ten days.

In addition to his father and mother, Gary was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert Brown and many other relatives.

Those who remain to mourn his passing include his loving wife, Rhonda Reed; son, Gary Reed and wife Tracy; three grandchildren: Colton Michael Reed, Coy Lane Reed, and Amanda Layne Kay; brother, Bob Reed and wife Carol; sister, Patti Reed-Cook; mother-in-law, Jewell Brown; In-Laws: Robert and Marlene Brown, Paula Brown, Peggy and Scott Krenzke, Melissa and Tom Huff; his best friend that he called brother, David Bettis and wife Janet. Gary worked for Doe Run Company where he retired from after twenty-nine years of service. He was a member of White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Gary was known for his passion for golf. Gary was a proud member of the National Rifle Association. He took such pride in his home and property. He would work diligently to maintain and very meticulous lawn. Above all, Gary loved Rhonda with all of his heart, “his boys” Gary, Colton and Coy, and his daughter-in-law, Tracy. Gary’s family will carry his memory in their hearts until they meet again.
